Technology was so inadequate back then, that every moving player flickered to the point where you could barely see the action. There's just no way to try an explain how lousy the sound was. Things were so limited that a scrolling screen was out of the question. Soon after, this one was given a run for its money with the competition. This next one was a valiant attempt to make a more realistic football video game. Still needed work, though.
